About Us

About Our Congregation

The full name of our congregation is "New Life Fellowship Congregation of Yahshua". We are a small congregation that emphasizes relationship with Yahweh, and getting to the heart of what it means to sincerely live for Yahshua. We are dedicated to worshipping Yahweh in Spirit and in Truth, and reaching out to the world to preach the Gospel of Messiah! Whether you are a mature believer, or are searching for a Savior, you are welcome at our congregation.

The youth are fully incorporated in our congregation. There is a primary class on Sabbath, and a teenage level class. The youth are engaged in ministry as well – using their talents to sing and dance before Elohim.

Some of our activities include: Fellowship Dinner every third Sabbath, Full Retreat every Feast of Tabernacles, Fellowships at Feast Times, Annual Church Outreach Picnic every summer, periodic group and youth outings, and much more.

Ministries Include: Monthly Women's Meeting (Sundays), Bi-Weekly Marriage Matters Meetings.

About Our Founder

Sylvester AnthonyPastor Sylvester Anthony was born on March 11, 1929 in Grant Town, West Virginia. He came to the Faith in his early twenties, and found out about the Sabbath and the True Names within a year of coming to the Faith. The True Names of Yahweh and Yahshua became his passion, as well as the understanding of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers in Messiah.

Pastor Anthony's love for Yahweh and his brothers and sisters was very apparent in his ministry. He started the Congregation of Yahshua in Pittsburgh in the late 1970's - the assembly began in his living room.

On May 31, 2005, Pastor Sylvester Anthony was called home to be with the Father.
