Our History |
The Congregation of Yahshua started in the living room of Sylvester and Norma Jean Anthony at 303 Climax Street in Pittsburgh in the late 1970's. The Congregation of Yahshua is an assembly that has always been about worshiping Yahweh in Spirit and in Truth. |
Around 1980, our late pastor began renting a church building in the Wilkinsburg section of town, where we stayed for several years until the building was sold. And then it was back to 303. Over the years we have often fellowshipped with the Congregation of Yahweh, which was pastored by the late Pastor Johnson and Pastor Robert Young who pastors the Congregation of Yahshua Messiah. But, meetings were primarily at the Anthony residence until 1996, when our current building was purchased. |

On May 31, 2005, our founder, Pastor Sylvester Anthony was called home to be with the Father. We are now blessed to have his youngest son, Pastor/Teacher Micah B. Anthony as our shephard. |
